I first realised I was getting good at this when another hypnotist went out and bought my name as a keyword on Google. Search for Rob Hadley in some places, and another hypnotist shows up as a sponsored ad in the results! I guess if I am worthy of immitation I am doing something right!
I trained at Coastal Acadamy of Hypnotherapy, and later under masters of modern hypnosis Gerry Kein and Grant Boddington. I run a successful hypnotherapy practice as well as doing stage hypnosis.
In 2007 I started work on a project in association with Artsyfartsy Pictures to bring "Going Under" to the screen. "Going Under" is a reality TV show about hypnosis, portraying the dramatic and sometimes hilarious goings on in a hypnotherapy practice.
In 2009 I had the pleasure of working with Andy Gerrard on Past Lives, a TV show for A&E. Further TV projects are in development.
When I am not hypnotizing unsuspecting subjects I fly light aircraft and support struggling coffee shops in Vancouver, BC. If you are really interested in my dark and distant past, I worked for Associated Press for years as a Press Photographer, for the UN as an Information Officer (in South Sudan), on the Sunday Times in South Africa, and currently own the largest hypnosis clinic in the Pacific Northwest.
